Dans le projet The Indonesian House, Claudia Larcher s’attache à la forme du livre. Le feuilletage de la publication mène à une réception échelonnée séquentiellement, qui donne ainsi des qualités tant filmiques que tactiles. Une double page est visible en grand format au mur dans l’exposition Kollaps (Galerie Raum mit Licht, 2018). Les visiteurs sont invités non seulement à parcourir l’espace du regard, mais aussi à se mettre avec leur corps en relation avec l’image.

In the project The Indonesian House Larcher adheres strongly to the book format. Leafing through this publication leads to a sequential, stacked reception that is lent both filmic and haptic qualities. A large format double-page spread is also displayed on a wall in the exhibition Kollaps (Galerie Raum mit Licht, 2018). Viewers are invited to not only survey the space with their gaze but to relate, themselves, to the image with their own bodies.
