Aucun de ces trophées n’a été remporté par l’artiste. A priori inaliénables, ils ont pourtant été achetés d’occasion puis attribués à des faussaires, célébrant celles et ceux qui, consacrant leur vie à créer ou à vendre des faux, déplacent la frontière de nos valeurs et de nos conventions.

None of these trophies was won by the artist. Seemingly inalienable, they were nevertheless purchased second-hand and then awarded to forgers, celebrating those who devote their lives to creating or selling fakes, pushing the boundaries of our values and conventions.
