A speculative proposal on the state of post-conceptual art, NOW HERE, Jean-Baptiste Caron’s personal exhibition at gallery 22,48m2, is a compilation of experiences, enigmas and hidden protocols. Concealment and testing understanding are recurring themes in Caron’s work. Each piece is presented as an enigma with its own unrevealed protocol, its own process of disclosure. A text given to visitors at the end of the exhibition allows them to reach a new state of awareness.
